With Love | George and Ginger

I have adored Kristi at George & Ginger patterns for a long time.  She is an incredibly talented designer.

Come to find out she’s not only talented but has a really big heart as well.  This weekend Kristi is celebrating her birthday and in lieu of birthday presents she is doing a fundraiser for Sandy Hook Promise.  Their mission is to "Prevent gun-related deaths due to crime, suicide and accidental discharge so that no other parent experiences the senseless, horrific loss of their child."

I remember vividly the panic of not knowing where my mom or sister were during the Columbine School Shootings.  At the time no one knew what school it was at and while my mom worked at a neighboring school we didn’t know which school the shootings happened at.  The utter fear of not knowing should never happen to anyone, nor should the loss of a child.

Kristi has provided a way for us to help.

I made the dress with a beautiful Athletic Brushed Poly from Zenith and Quasar. 

The With Love Dress is a must have for any closet!  It comes in a dress length and a maxi length.  I'm a HUGE fan of maxi length dresses!  And I love that it can be adjusted to be as long as I'd like!

It really does look absolutely amazing on everyone!  Every tester picture looked fantastic.  It is really fast to sew and the directions are easy to follow.  

One of my favorite things to do as I'm testing is to have one of my older kids or husband put together to pattern to see how easy it is to assemble.  My husband was the guest assembler for this round of testing and had absolutely no complaints about the assembly.  In fact, I believe his words were "Wow, I don't think any of the other patterns have been this easy."
