"A little bit of Monica in my life
A little bit of Erica by my side
A little bit of Rita is all I need
A little bit of Tina is what I see"

Man, that brings back memories! All the way back to 1995. But I sure didn't have amazing skirts like these in 1995. In fact, if anyone from back then saw me now they probably wouldn't believe I'm the same person. While I would have loved to be in fashion, it was a tad hard to find.

Fast forward to 2019 and Monica, Erica, Rita and Tina are back....better than ever!

This time though, they're in back in skirt form and 5 out of 4 Patterns has done a fantastic job with these skirts!

I had the opportunity to sew up the Monica because I most definitely needed Monica in my life!

I made Monica in knee length, high waistband with the optional ties.

I added 3" for my height and so the skirt would actually hit my knees. And, it does perfectly even though it's hard to see it in these picture. That's the downside of having my photographer being the same height as me!

I have to say that my absolute favorite part of Monica is the box pleats!
I'm a sucker for box pleats. They're easy to sew, and I love how they look.

Monica is a nice easy sew, with clear directions. It came together beautifully and I am tickled with me new skirt!

There are a multitude of waistband options that fit every one of the skirts...interchangeable waistbands? That's just amazing!
Each skirt (Monica, Erica, Rita and Tina) all have other fantastic options like pockets, suspenders, ruffles....Oh my!

In reality though, what more could you ask for in a collection of skirts?  I'm sure there is something that could be added, I just can't think of anything!

It's perfection in a collection!

And now the details!

You can get JUST the Monica skirt HERE.
